David joined LGT following their acquisition of abrdn Capital in 2023, his focus is to ensure a seamless integration into LGT for former clients and staff of abrdn. He was formerly Head of the Discretionary business at abrdn, and a Director for 13 years, having joined from Lloyds Private Banking where he was Director of the Bank's ultra high net worth private client business, and a member of the Executive Management committee of Lloyds Private Banking. Throughout his career David has built a broad range of experience in finance and investment related roles, and specifically held business leadership roles within private banking and discretionary fund management for the last 25 years.
He holds the ACIB (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers) qualification, is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Managerial and Administrative Studies from Aston University.
