Gair lead the Scottish charity and endowments offering from LGT, managing portfolios for charities, trusts and public institutions. He joined LGT following the acquisition of abrdn's discretionary investment management business in 2023, bringing over 20 years’ experience in the charity sector as a volunteer, Executive Director and Investment Manager. Gair moved into investment management in 2011 to specialise in charity investments and prior to that, spent six years’ in Military Intelligence, commissioned in the Royal Air Force.
Gair is a former Trustee and Finance Committee member of the Officers’ Association Scotland and the John Muir Trust. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the CFA’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
