We are pleased to have launched Connected Capital, a video series dedicated to shining a spotlight on an area of sustainability. Whilst sustainable finance is often perceived in isolated terms, it is a critical component in our collective journey toward a safer, cleaner and more sustainable future for generations to come. Connected Capital delves into the intricate connections between human capital, natural capital and financial capital, offering fresh perspectives and insights into how these vital elements interrelate and drive sustainable progress.
In each episode, Phoebe Stone, Head of Sustainable Investing, is joined by an expert sitting at the vanguard of sustainable innovation to hear about their work and the exciting developments they are seeing within their specialist field.
The first three episodes included discussions on the vital role that mushrooms could play in overcoming some of our most pressing environmental and human challenges, strategic philanthropy’s unique potential to pioneer innovative solutions and the commitments of major fashion brands in improving labour standards.
The next three episodes of Connected Capital are now available and feature discussions with three inspiring thought leaders:

His insights focus on the damage being caused by recent proliferation of seaweed in our seas, seaweed’s application as a bio-based alternative product and Seafield’s application to Elon Musk’s XPRIZE Carbon Removal.
Ben Snee: As one of the co-founders and the CEO of LGT Wealth Management, Ben has overseen the firm’s growth to a leading wealth manager with £30 billion assets under management.
